As a young girl Isabel Marant already had a strong feeling about her clothes, refusing to wear skirts or dresses. Following her studies at Studio Berçot she first launched a jewelry line and in 1990 she started Twen, a small knitwear collection that later grew out to become Isabel Marant as we know it today. Nowadays, she is regarded as one of the most influential designers in the world. Isabel Marant designs clothing with a nonchalant elegance, which makes women look cool and beautiful.

In 2000 she introduced her second line, Isabel Marant Étoile, inspired by the image of metropolitan women. The unmistakable 'Isabel Marant' signature is clearly visible in this line. Isabel Marant Étoile is sold in exclusive boutiques and department stores all over the world.
